Hit The Downs MTB

Sunday saw me up and at them to catch up with a group of mountain bikers getting prepared for the St Barnabas Hit The Downs MTB Event.

These guys really have put in some effort to get in shape for the event, the course is either 20 or 40 mile off road across the south downs. Sean at Marmalade MTB has generously given his time free of charge to help those that are doing the event by offering guided rides in preparation. Take a look at his facebook page here to see some of the rides he goes on and understand a little more about the service he offers, I cant recommend him enough, with his knowledge of just about every track in the local area and plenty more in the neighbouring counties, you wont be disappointed

Although i'd loved to have tagged along the whole way, I was there to capture the days riding and see what I could put together to help promote the event (and Marmalade MTB for the help Sean has offered). With the day a gloriously sunny one, and the wind nice and gentle it made for perfect flying conditions. Hopefully i'll have finished the video in the next few days so keep an eye out for it, but needless to say there is some great shots of these guys working hard.
